So is your suggestion that animal activists not show the truth? I can promise you that your discomfort seeing farmed animals being abused and killed in no way compares to their very real suffering. Why contribute to it if you can’t look at it?

Because no one should have to die for my pet to eat when my pet can be perfectly healthy eating plant based. Why should I prioritize one animal over another? They all deserve to live peacefully without being exploited, abused or killed.

There are plant based foods that are formulated to meet a cat’s needs. While this article is not ideal as it is not an RCT it does show that cats don’t die without eating animal flesh: pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...

Cats need taurine to survive. Most animal-based cat foods (that are typically made from the remnants of animal flesh etc from the slaughterhouse floor) must have taurine added back in since the process of making the food destroys taurine.

Don’t you see that by not looking, you’re refusing to watch the harm you’re paying for though?
