I know a lot of folks have abandoned X as they rightly would like to stay clear of the filth that is part and parcel of the app but I think it’s useful to know what other people are thinking. At present Caitlin Clark is being pilloried for having acknowledged she might have had certain advantages.

When I was in graduate school I used to read Reader’s Digest, as I thought it gave me some insight into what was then called Middle America. More than anything what struck me was how decent, wholesome (and white) it made life in these here States seem. Of late I’ve been absorbing the world of X.
