This is a great example using language to frame the issue in a way that makes renewable energy not just a “lefty”/democratic issue but one that people on the political right should be behind too! Frame it as something that doesn’t even line up with their own priorities / values!

We also scrambled to identify what could be affected. The potential impact was large enough that we had to take it seriously, regardless of where it was on the spectrum of truth and rumor. It’s such an insane idea on its surface but clearly the insanity of an idea doesn’t matter at this point…
