If I habitually flew in biz class with someone else paying, I’d be ok wearing a suit/sport coat. But if I’m paying and am jammed in the back I’m wearing the comfortable stuff. Not pajamas or sweats but comfortable clothes. I did enough of the suit travel thing in the 1990s up thru the 2010s.

When the leader at the top allows and personally models lying about any and all things we should not be surprised at this sort of behavior in the administration. He sets the tone. I’m dismayed but not too shocked. Sigh.

Or … or … the GOP reps could do something NOW as a group and limit that damage. I don’t think they will, and so they deserve whatever losses come their way. They could stand up for people, justice and country but they won’t.

I think A LOT of people are “asleep”. They are just not paying attention for a variety of reasons. e.g., Some have no time cause they work their butts off to survive each week. Others haven’t been financially affected but don’t want to hear news that worries them and is depressing and disturbing.

True. And it appears the Trump admin hasn’t gotten Putin to back down on any of his Ukraine points either. Makes ya wonder just how good a deal maker the Orange Menace is?

Since the political world is extra crazy right now, I think it would be a hoot if Madison Cawthorn moved into her district, ran for her seat and won. Cause, ya know, there’s still room for more chaos in the House. Right?

He will continue to get worse. Yet more so than we can imagine.

He is deeply disordered. Narcissism and manipulation for sure along w a whole bunch of indicators he’s a psychopath. He is incapable of caring about people and gets gratification from hurting others. He will continue to get worse. Beyond what any of us can conjure up as possibilities.

This could just be Trump being himself on a usual day but … I think there is a fair chance the Epstein votes and having to sign the bill resulted in narcissistic injury and this is his way of forcefully striking back to restore his self image of strength and dominance.

JD and his boss have a seeming inability to joke in any other mode than “put down” of others. “Oh look, we got ‘em riled up good!” It’s the “kicking down” approach to the world.

I’ve joked (to myself) that one of the biggest things grad school prepared me for was sitting in one place for hours focusing intently on a task. I wasn’t just in a flow state. It was more like a torrent or waterfall state.

Yup. It ain’t all about about being smart, knowledgeable or technically skilled. You still need characteristics like discipline, persistence and creativity to make things work.

4 - Where’s the line for just killing people who (in your view) violate the law without due process? Gun running? Crossing the border? Suspected fraud? Cause … once we’re on that slope things can slide. The admin is run by ghouls.

And not a word from republicans for 10 months about this. They are fully complicit in this madness.
