It’s been about ~10 years since I drove a snow machine. The machines have changed a lot, heavier and more powerful, and all of my old instincts were very wrong. But, it was still good to get out for a few hours.

This drawer has healthy plans for the weekend. It’s going to get up early every morning and go for a run or maybe a hike, definitely do something outside. It’s not going to get drunk at a party and make bad decisions. It’s going to sleep 8 hrs and meditate.

Last night I hear him rustling in the kitchen, no crashing or splashing so I let it go. He comes into the living room with a plate of cheerios smothered in syrup and sprinkles plus an ice water and tells me he made me a snack. He made the tastiest thing a he could think of. Don’t deserve the kid.
