This guy looks more refined than his possessed friend, but he has on a burnt orange zipped onesie with grinning cartoon clouds. Beat up suitcase—hard sided with riveted edging and three clip fasteners. Looks finger painted with BG88 and childish sun and flower and maybe a weird tree. Paint smudges all around the shapes and letters.

My library hold arrived—I think from Soldotna? This banged up old copy of HOUSE OF LEAVES with that questionable red stain is creeping me tf out. Thankfully, the “strange smell” has dissipated. Those three crosses looming in my rearview made me yelp. Am I right to be terrified of this book?! #horror

I do read physical books…probably finish around 10 of those? My toxic trait is buying physical and audio 🤪🆘 I start the physical and then need to do something so get the audio. Or I get the audio then need to see the words in print, feel the pages 📚

Our coldest ski day so far 🥶 My toes were NOT happy 😂 And solid ice inside the goggles was even less fun than regular fogging 🤪 We will go back next week for sure! This was taken at our 2:20pm dusk. Only 21 days until the days start getting longer again!!

Y’all, I’ve just succumbed to late-stage capitalism and bought socks for my chairs from Daiso. That far sock is the back of the cat one on the nearground. I’m sure it’s its…tail!! It’s a next-level TAIL!!

Currently reading From Long Shots to X-Rays: Distance and Point of View. There’s writer-brain-blowing gold throughout this book. Reading his essays is akin to finding a legit dojo with a sensei sharing a deep understanding of the art. Hard to describe but easy to spot, even as a kyu-grade writer 🤓
