Hello? Is this thing on? I like gaming, reading, coding, and rambling - CS Student
3D Vector class in C++ implemented w/ Expression Templates. The root motivation behind this approach is that you can "lazily evaluate" & compose vectors expressions together, and avoid the redundant loops & memory allocations associated with typical or naive CPU based vector operand implementations.

just finished reading this book. would recommend if you have any interest in social and/or economic networks and want a light intro. a majority of the metrics & models (ex: centrality, schelling) are explained with language and images rather than math notation which is nice.

unfortunate. the next time we see this agency do something consequential again will probably be... in 4 years lol.
The EPA has eliminated its research division, which for decades has provided the science behind regulations on clean air, clean water, and toxic chemicals.

The US can afford to monitor, research, and regulate the impacts of industries on human and environmental health. We are just choosing not to.
EPA eliminates research and development office, begins layoffs
The Environmental Protection Agency said Friday it is eliminating its research and development arm and reducing agency staff by thousands of employees.

they look super pretty. the efficiency losses are unfortunate, but it'd be interesting to see if aesthetics are enough to stimulate adoption. i've always seen the small scale of solar PVs and their capacity to be distributed in urban areas as one of their boons and nice colors could help w/ that

Just watched Whiplash for the first time. Very intense film. The self-destructive manner in which success (or the pursuit of success/greatness) was portrayed --and whether that destructiveness was necessary in the end -- is probably what sticks out to me most. Good movie
