A post exchange from this site. Jerry Chen posted “(bluesky user bursts into Waffle House) OH SO YOU HATE PANCAKES??”, to which Jay, the ceo of this newly-minted hellscape, quoted “Too real. We’re going to try and fix this. Social media doesn’t have to be this way.” A user, “Lucas, ho chi minh thot”, then responded “Have y’all banned Jesse Singal yet or”, which is a valid concern and one I wish to know the answer to as well (Jesse Singal presents a clear and present threat to the marginalised communities that made this site worth a damn), to which Jay responded “WAFFLES” in a show of the most brain-dead, tone-deaf behaviour I’ve seen from a social media ceo in approximately 3.5 days.

If anybody thinks I'm going to hand over my most sensitive information to a third-party company with security the rough equivalent of this, they have another thing coming.
A lone yellow gate stands proudly in the middle of a pedestrian footpath with no fencing on either side of it, the implication being that it is completely useless and easily breached. In fact, it was voted one of the most useless things in the UK, beaten only by Keir Starmer.
