(they literally just didn’t send emails to me anymore for 2fa but sent marketing still lol)

I keep thinking how the world CDPR put together is starting to feel genuinely just normal by the day. I remember in 2020, I felt like the themes it had were more wild, more crazy. That the ads were just so unbelievably unhinged.

I'm not phased by it anymore. Shitty world we live in

I think the only reason I even engage with online so much is purely how many of the people I know and care about are only available to reach for me via online.

apparently last few updates have been pretty good and one of my friends is very into it with her gf but that was genuinely so miserable i nope'd out and refunded

I own a bit of merch of it, courtesy of @silverandro.dev. The story has stuck with me, to this day and it's one of the few games I've platinum'd twice.

The writing, the themes, the music. It has stuck with me.

Game's dead. I don't see a future for it.

I keep hearing that this update is appealing to the masses, just not me as a "veteran player" and the game has to appeal to more people. This is less people than for the Delivery Charge heist. It's a faster fall-off than that.

And that was an "okay" overpriced as hell heist with nothing else.

It's incredibly sad to me that I, as an extremely passionate player and creator, one of the like 10 people btw who still cared about this game, had my entire experience crossed out.

It's sad to me that the devs put no effort in listening. And for what?
