6. I usually come up with a framework for the character, something distinguishing in personality or appearance that is central to the character. From there I add in a few little other vague details to story to work with, then throw them into the world to discover them.

11. Yes and no. I love my characters but I also traumatize them repeatedly in their stories. My current Draenei Aylunaa is a Shattrath City Survivor and has to deal with that. I have a blind Draenei monk who had half her face melted by an orc warlock. There's always some horrific events.

Granted little drawing, maybe sharing art gotten of them but mostly written!
