My dad is 79, and if he had an MRI he would he would absolutely have no idea what it was for.

My husband and I were trying to explain how different presidential elections used to be to our 16 yo daughter. We told her about Romney and his “binders of women” and some of the old scandals of the past, and she was baffled. It really was a different world.

You know, I’ve always kind of sympathized with her about that particular issue. If I were First Lady, I would absolutely hate the decoration part of the job. She’s a terrible person, but I get that.

My daughter went to GVA. They have some great people there. They only hire native speakers to teach the target languages, so it makes sense they need to hire immigrants. That was one of the best parts of her experience. She met people from around the world.
