They're working to rig the midterms which will insulate them from angry voters. They're planning to disenfranchise millions of voters through gerrymandering and oppressive voter ID laws as well as ending vote by mail. That's why they're behaving so cavalier, they believe there'll be no consequences.

Republicans have been fighting to destroy ACA since its inception. They've lied about a plan to replace it just as long. They cut Medicaid and SNAP eligibility because they don't care about their constituents or the American public as a whole. They care about tax breaks for them and the ultra rich.
