Yay USA consumer choice

ų-review; this £8 reversible ratchet 1/4” socket or bit driver is not bad.

Only gripe is the ratchet direction switch is the same side as the bit driver, which is the most likely side you’ll use.

Can add a 1/4” extender for a lot more welly.

Yay Scotland. Lived here 7 years and never ridden up this hill. Ridden *past* it hundreds of times. There’s always somewhere to explore.

2,110km on using the Shimano Link Glide LG700 cassette for nasssty eMTB duty, time to swap the 11 & 13T cogs. About £15 the pair. 15T available too.

Looking closely there’s really nowhere near the wear I would have thought.

These OMM fork packs are brilliant.

Multiple #SkySaltires today on the Glen Ogle route. Fabulous.

Dalwhinnie down to Loch Pattick then up past Culra bothy and over Bealach Dubh. The last 500m is a 20%-gradient push of mildly unfunny proportions.

Ben Alder Cottage by gravel bike. Frequently Type II fun, but worth it. Next time, full-sus eMTB 👍

‘No tandems’? No problem.

Hacked my Yakima Highroad to be a bit longer. Didn’t break anything. Pleased.

I have no idea what the business model is, but this cycling.today MSR feed is perfect, and free. Result.

The more I use the Remco Bike Lift, the more I figure I don’t *need* my left kidney^

^not that it’s that expensive

This was a hugely inspirational and humbling day out. I’m very proud that through PerthshireGravel perthshiregravel.com/routes/ we have enabled more rides like this for the whole community (if it’s good for Adaptive, it’s good for EVERYONE!)

Yes it’s a grand. Your bike likely cost £4K+.

If you ride often and want to DIY your maintenance (why wouldn’t you?) without risking a hernia or slipped disc, this is the answer.

OK so the Remco Tools Bike Lift is Very Cool.

Check this out. 26kg eMTB and not a smidge of wobble or angst - straight up from the floor, straight back down. Easy chain cleaning and lube, checking of gears, brakes, whatever. Circa £1k, I don’t see why any eMTB or ebike owner wouldn’t want one.

Went for a long eMTB ride. Had to stop to take notes.

Can confirm: the Remco Bike Lift is awesome. eu.remcotools.com

Yeah nah.

Question: as I have NordVPN, can I use that to watch TdF coverage from other countries? I’m guessing Ireland would offer English-language commentary?

OK wow wasn’t expecting that. Long-time haters of semi-slick tyres René Herse have only gone and made one - with *three* patents filed for features that ‘solve’ the inherent shortcomings of other semi-slicks. www.renehersecycles.com/700x44-corks...
