ts very hard to die from co2 build up its insanely uncomfortable and you will have the hood ripped off long before you pass out. If you are in bondage and you cant get the hood off you fucking die.

If the hood can collapse on itself then it is a issue, still taking deep breaths you can overcome the dead space in the hood. Wouldn't want to wear it for too long when the co2 builds up your instinct is to remove the hood. It gets very uncomfortable long before you pass out.

Try it your self with a bubbler bottle I did. The tubes wont pressurize your lungs cant even make 1 psi of pressure. the tube would have to be 10m long for dead space to be an issue.

The water coming out of the tube is aerated, so the co2 is being expelled. There will be some dead space but not enough to cause a problem.

It's not dangerous they used the incorrect wording in the post. The dead space is not significant enough. You can exhale through a bubbler bottle, it will just push the water out the straw until there is no water left. That hood has no one way valves, they just didn't translate well to English
