I love cannoli (with ricotta, NOT crème patissiere), but consider it more of a snack to have with coffee than an actual dessert.

There’s a salad recipe from NYT, which also uses asparagus. Haven’t tried it myself but looks delicious.

We’ve now moved to HPV screening so unless you’ve recently had an abnormal smear, you should be eligible to do a self-swab, which is a better test, and if negative, you won’t need another for 5 years. More info at www.timetoscreen.nz/cervical-scr...
