The *main* integrated data types in a fishery stock assessment are indices of abundance, which depend on selected biomass (in aggregate), and age or length composition data.

I think of them as state-space models, but the population model components are usually age-structured and density-dependent, which I don't think will reduce down to something as simple as what you have in mind.

FWIW, as of this summer RCEATTLE will estimate SEMs within the stock assessment (to estimate, e.g., drivers of recruitment variability). github.com/grantdadams/...

I am confused about referring to integrated models as "multiple outcome variables that are related." Maybe I don't understand your terminology, but to be clear, integrated models *integrate* likelihoods for multiple data types to estimate parameters of a single process (population) model.
