UPDATE: DeSantis schedules June special elections for two empty seats in the Florida Legislature. This follows a lawsuit from voters who argued that he violated the state constitution by failing to call elections for these vacancies for over two months.

The National Treasury Employees Union filed a lawsuit to reverse President Trump's executive order reclassifying thousands of federal workers to make it easier for them to be fired. The union says the order "is about administering political loyalty tests."
