In this appalling week, we finally made it to #caturday.

One of ours also sits like this. He wasn’t orphaned but he is as thick as mince, which explains a lot!

My child turns 16 today. As I was hanging balloons, it struck me that this is still the only habitable living area in the cottage. I didn’t imagine planning permission would slow renovations down to the extent that we’d still be living like this a year on.
It’ll be worth it in the end, right?! 😂
