I very much saw parallels. Look at the officers surrounding Tesla stores. Or the fact that there is a apparently a private fire department, private fireman that you can hire who knew that existed.

Great anthology
I recommend Andrew Joseph White. Compound Fracture is contemporary and The Spirit Bares Its Teeth is historical and Hell Follows With Us is dystopian.

I think someone who physically assaults another person, including SA is also a problematic author. I can’t see how that violence doesn’t bleed over into their art.
