So yesterday those of us on the west coast from mid Oregon to central CA had a little national weather service kerfuffle. I.e. a tsunami warning. And it appears that a whole bunch of people freaked tf out. And that’s why people on the coast apparently need to learn about tsunamis. 1🧵

I was in high school during the rise of the Moral Majority, which was neither. For decades they have tried to claim morality for themselves. Don’t let them.
The intellectual dishonesty of the right saying they’re losing their liberal friends because of politics is so manipulative.
Moral values have always been at the heart of this election, human rights, respecting our laws, what precedent were setting, our constitution.

Okay, I just planted over 50 bulbs in the yard. Aside from meaning that I actually went outside and did something, this means part of me believes that there actually will be a springtime.

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.
I spent my childhood behind barbed wire. My parents lost everything. 1/
