awww little guy!!!! You should be fine!!! tbh you can rely a lot on their body language because in my experience skinks are SUPER expressive. If he’s flattening out and hissing he’s probably a bit freaked, but otherwise he’s most likely just chilling!!

Possibly!!!!! Pineapple also quite enjoys taking naps in the hood of my jackets sometimes!!!

When i still lived at my parents house Pineapple occasionally had room privilege (I would let him climb out of his tank and wander around my room) and his favorite thing in the world was to break into my pajama drawer and curl up in my soft pajama pants so im also of the theory skinks just like soft

In my experience yeah!!! It’s a new environment for him to get used to, so while i’d make sure he’s not sluggish or lethargic him chilling out in a comfy spot makes sense!! They’re also a species that does really like to burrow so i wouldn’t put it past him to have just found a good spot lol
