Oh I know exactly what you're talking about! Our house was like that too. If someone had the right pair of socks on and touched you, it hurt like hell. On occasion we would have shock wars lol. Had to be the wool carpet.

My husband checked the numbers, around 6k employees lost their jobs in the last year. Our friend who had a CORE position is now out of job. They are going after reservists too. We'll know in a few months whether my husband still has a job when his contract is up.

If another hurricane hits like the one 2 years ago, everyone better start praying. I would suggest that if you live in the south that you have a secondary place where you can stay because you are probably going to need it. At the rate this bitch is going, there will be no help coming.

About 6000 people have been cut over the last year. CORE is being cut now. A friend of ours just lost his job. They're also going after reservists, my husband will find out probably in April or May if he still has a job. If by some chance he doesn't lose it, he'll be safe for another 2 years.
