I am a fan of Bob Mackie. I got to meet him last spring when he was here in Toronto for the viewing of a documentary about him. A very sweet and patient man, he was gracious and kind to all he met. He struck me as quite elderly and a little frail and maybe too trusting of this business partner.

Everything has a side hustle - he doesn't do anything without it benefiting himself. So does he own a lot of Nvidia stock? Or is it just the usual quid pro quo for the ballroom et al? I find it hard to believe this was really about the farmers; they are just collateral damage.

just came back from Denmark where the min wage is high, universal healthcare, dental, education, social services all provided for and it is beautiful, clean. Expensive, yes,. but wages are higher so its ok. The only ones losing out are the extreme wealthy may not be as wealthy as they like.
