Privacy preserving is a top of priority, by using own VPN is really privacy matter even after January 2nd 2026 it won't track you as long as VPN is always on.

Well probably I'll considering leaving this Duolingo app forever after we've reached 1000 days of the streak milestones as I'm really boring to learn Japanese due to many words or sentences are already implementing with AI which it feels kinda worse for learning especially learn Japanese like me.
An screenshot shows a milestone streak on Duolingo with the fire emoji and bigger text which it is a streak day (998), and also a checklist bar for streak progress.
