Since the announcement of the Steam Machine, people have been talking about the difference between PC and console. Some people think that PC gamers want a big PC tower. I can only speak for myself, but that's not what I like about PC gaming. I like being able to replace/upgrade the parts as needed.

Tbh I think I'm too intrinsically motivated to enjoy what most MMOs or even online games in general are pitching. A lot of them want you to log in regularly, do your dailies, raids, etc., to get the new shiny. I don't really care too much about the shiny. I need it to be fun even without the reward.
