I am a Game Designer / Narrative Designer from Germany, sharing my work here! In the internet I am known as a purple fox, called Kitsunaki :)
Und wieder bin ich ein Jahr älter geworden. Was treibt man so an seinem Geburtstag? Ich habe viel an einer VR Umsetzung eines SNES Titels gearbeitet. Nur ein kleines Fan-Projekt, um den Kopf freizubekommen und nachher wird noch etwas in VRC gefeiert :D Aktuell ist viel zu tun!

I saw this magical orb in my shelf and started creating volumetric materials. Also I made a nice procedural marble. Loving the patterns! But I came back to the fog, make it thick and full of emissive tiny orbs to fill the orb with a nice nebula pattern!

This anvil was a great training when it comes to edge flow, mask mape (to mix different materials) and baking normal maps to bring high detail surface onto a low detail mesh. Also you can always need a proper anvil for your projects :D

With some 40-80K textures from NASA I recreated earth with a day/night cycle. It was fidgety and lead my old PC to it's limits! But it really looks neat with the atmosphere and lights of the night. It helped me creating a better world for VRC :D

Fur systems are definitely also a boss in 3D art, so I created a lil fuzz monster to test some stuff on him. I would say it looks cute :P

After that I tried to create procedural mud, to bake a texture for upcoming projects.

This is my first plush ever - Rex. I grabbed him to train sculpting organic forms in Blender. I am still in training and so I can always use for some examples to recreate. That is developing your eyes for proportions and size :D

In the meantime I updated my VR base to the current version and killed most of the jank. The new textures are working greatly! :D

Which games influenced you heavily on what you enjoy to play these days? The Diablo games definitely started my interest in roleplay and grim fantasy, dark realistic medieval settings in general. I just got these items to upgrade my lil Diablo collection :D

A new texturing of the 1.7 Rexo-base? Yes there will be a new version of myself in VRC very soon. Just have to tweak the materials and stuff first. That was just a first dumping-the-textures-on :D It's about time for a clean Unity project~

A coworker modeled my fox sona and I added hair, made it printable; another friend with a 3D printer then printed the bust and I painted it. Often the profession of one person alone is not enough to finish a project, but many people combined can produce something x]

How would a KitsuBall looks like? Well I think like that! Just finished fidgeting around with procedural texturing via math nodes to create a super realistic material. (And it's even soft and snuggly from inside! I should put it into a VR-world :D)

Heh that's how I look like in VirtualReality since 1.5 years now. Refined textures after a first try from end of 2020. This winter I think I will keep the design like it is, but it will be new before Christmas~ Fur Brush, 4K, matcap reflections...I try~

Definitiv prägend in meiner Kindheit gewesen und Anfang Mai habe ich das Spiel erst nochmal durchgespielt! :D
Mit 6.636.861 von 6.631.364 hatte ich sogar ein paar Punkte mehr als möglich; kA wie/wo das passiert ist, aber ich versuchte alles zu sammeln was geht! xD

I learn 3D modelling in a professional training now. In the beginning box design with easy primitives like spheres and cylinders was the task. Here you can see the example vs my solution vs my solution after procedural texture magic~
