Nus Braka is a cardboard villain cutout, but that still doesn’t explain why he attacks the Academy ship. Yes, he wants to sell the warp drive, but why that ship at that moment? Yes, a young cadet, trying to reach his mother sends an illicit signal. But was Nas waiting all this time at that place?

Captain Nahle Ake treated the command chair like her private couch, which would be resented by ant crew. The ‘Doctor’, played by the fine actor Robert Picard, shows no bedside manor and no explanation is given why an emergency program is the Academy only medical staff.

As a side note, the price of a company’s stock does not necessarily equate with its earnings. And if one uses a software for business, the cost can be deductible. Adobe has been around for a long time and has lots of third party plug ins. I still think it sucks lemons!

I think we agree more than think. ICE, by the far rights own admissions, have become the American Gestapo. And they’re happy about it. people come to America looking for a better life. The rhetoric labeling them all violent criminals is right out of the mid 1930s NAZI propaganda.

I find the current situation with ICE strange. For years, it went about doing its job, finding and deporting those illegally in the USA. No one objected. It was only when it was politicized and radicalized by the current administration that anyone objected. Now they are viewed as jack booted thugs.

I got halfway through the first episode and stopped watching. There as much time spent on commercials as the actual plot line, meaning not much is happening. It’s a shameless scam designed to get views on the promise that someday, something, somehow, no matter how banal or stupid, will happen.

As much as most of you want to make this into some great humanitarian crisis, it happens all time. Every school year, in fact. Erma will still be able to spend time with all her friends at recess, lunch and between classes. If the relationship can’t survive a little separation, it wasn’t much of one

It’s a tempest in a teapot. Amy and Erma will still get to see each other between classes and at recess. It’s possible they were intentionally separated because they caused so much trouble.

I always liked your ‘Super Hero slice of life’ art. But screw you, writers aren’t proofreaders or editors. a good writer has a reading group, who read and nicpicks the details. And no mater how much something gets proof read, mistakes will happen. The writers job is to CREATE!

As a writer, I’d like to point out that the short story is the hardest literary form to write well. There little space for a plot, none for character development or exploring motivations. It’s much easier to write a novella.
