The narrative that solar and wind are a waste because sometimes the sun doesn’t shine/wind doesn’t blow is ridiculous b/c the sun shines every day & the wind blows 24/7 in many places. Are there low output gaps we can absolutely solve for just like we did every other form of generation? Yes. We can.

Did you know that 2/3 of all energy we use ends up as waste heat because of how inefficient our energy system is?

Yet we pay for 100% of the energy inputs.

Here’s the US as an example.

Reminder that California, Texas and New York are the world's fifth, eighth, and tenth largest economies. So if Washington is out of the climate fight, that doesn't mean Sacramento, Austin and Albany won't play a major role
