There's a media push to treat transphobic violence as something that is perpetrated by evil individuals (rednecks, young men in bars, etc) who murder out of ignorant hatred. The truth is, trans people are murdered quietly and systematically by the institutions that are supposed to protect them.

I dont think shit talking really effects whether or not theyre gonna lose, and besides losing the game is just part of the gameplay loop so its not really an extra punishment. Besides, the second person would still exist and be shitty if the game had no moderation.

How does that make sense? Assholes are gonna exist regardless of moderation and in a system that doesnt punish for being bad to people, they can be as terrible as they want
