With that said, I'd say that voters' internalized racism, misogyny and transphobia likely impacted the election as well but not to the extent as the DNC's mishandling of her campaign.

Admittedly, I also have a conspiracy theory that Musk rigged it for Trump to win but lack any evidence to prove it.

IMHO, the DNC ran Harris' campaign pretty conservatively, which gave "business as usual with little change" vibes.

It'd explain the initial excitement of her announcement to run & how quickly that energy waned.I think voters expected more.

The short time to create her campaign didn't help either.
