The same regional airport that played danger zone as ambient also had a place that sold banh mi and Phô so I had a great time waiting for my flight.

Doesn’t look like much but this here is an Australian MS9+ graded wagyu strip loin and it was 👨🍳😘 honestly one of the best steaks I’ve eaten. Even the edges, which looked a bit overcooked, were melt in my mouth. I love my job.

It was hot and humid. Best thing for it. The broth stayed slushy pretty much the entire time. So refreshing.

The pan-Asian restaurant in my hotel does a buffet on Wednesday nights. It’s got so many great dishes that it’s the only time I eat at the hotel. I’m just waiting for it to open. Here are some pictures from a couple of the previous visits I’ve had to it.

When your airport lounge is a bit over the top and there is an entire Moët & Chandon bar. I had the rosé champagne but I should have had a tasting of all 4. Next time I go through here I’m only going to have like 2hrs but I think I’m going to try for a tasting.

Now this is going to sound ridiculous but I just made a baby focaccia from scratch just so I could make a sandwich. It didn’t rise as much as I wanted but it still made a great sandwich. I also made a quick pickle of onions, carrots and cabbage. 4 different meats, havarti cheese, arugula and tomato
