As Trump plans to attack one of FIFA's members & kills citizens of another, FIFA makes a political statement. How can it now look the world in the eye & claim it represents the world's game & the best interests of all it's members? How can it be taken seriously?

Has Trump ever initiated any direct policy against Russia? He certainly has supported their foreign policy & taken action to do so. Praised & defended Putin at every opportunity, even rolling out the red carpet.
Nothing to see here though.

In one stroke what dubious threads of credibility remained have been stripped away as FIFA tarnish their centre piece. No matter what happens now, people will question every policy, scheduling, referee decision as to whether there is some corrupt aim behind it.

Europe are still backing Ukraine & will continue to do so. Trump is working for Putin. Nothing of the proposed US support in that 28 point plan or Russian promises are trustworthy.
