We would get a half cow from my Uncle in Stapleton NE every year where my mom was born. My Great Grandmother was born 2 years after the Civil War in Valentine County NE and knew her till I was in 8th grade. Also had second cousins in Oregon and Delta BC

Electricity went off last night. Stove and refrigerator weren't working. Have refrigerator plugged into another outlet and cooking rice now and warming up mug dall with kale made to warm up later.
