What a fantastic experience after playing ToP,ToD,ToE and ToS before Abyss was just coming out!

Very theme-fitting! The composer Shoji Meguro is doing the lord's work again! There is more music than singing this time compared to the persona series. Very refreshing.

Overall, it's not too bad, but the points are deducted due to over-reskining the dungeon and bosses. Making sure everything can be farmed without stealing only was a nice touch so players with ADD would not lose their minds.

The best part of the game, by far, is No one was forced to be a clown or moron. Everyone who joined the team felt natural. Their side stories were filling. I liked everyone with a passion. I hope the direction of character development continues this way.

I understand the dev wants to try something new, and as players, we felt they had put a lot of time and effort into character development and world logic. However, the blatant storytelling style results in players like myself skipping dialog a lot during the late game.

There were many jobs to use, and I felt great having the freedom to choose my combination. Not really about the front and back system since it didn't make it to the end game. Turn manipulation is a nice touch that allows you to do many things within "your turn." It felt great.

During the demo, which you can access, the first dungeon felt well-designed while not too complicated. Unfortunately, every dungeon felt flat after the mid-game. No puzzle, no depth, and no passion.

They have simplified the system. You only need to talk to your companion whenever the rank-up opportunity is available. Life skills are much easier to obtain than persona series, and no grinding is necessary.
