Apparently changing sides to collaborate with the main characters turned Xia Xia's lighthouses from red to pink, now that I think about it.

Oh shit, Chang carries Buelsar away... I mean, his whole reason to tag along was implied to be interest on him because of Chang's link to Paul.

Funny how people decried Bam absorbing White's power as bullshit at the time (and I get why, mind you), but knowing what we do now... It's just the first clear sign on the fact there's something deeply abnormal about Bam, and builds up his ill-fated connection with White.

Like, ignition weapons are weapons with souls, right? But during the Workshop Battle arc it's clarified that human experimentation is technically forbidden within the Workshop.
For something as "common" as ignition weapons, it's unlikely they're breaking taboo as a general rule.
