P.s. this was one of the breakout sessions at SNP conference where an university rector and union officials attended and intimated this would happen - this very reason was cited as being a huge risk to institutions who haven’t got stored wealth. Inflations hasn’t helped.

Lack of international tuition fees plays a part (as we have world recognised institutions where ppl want to attend) This occurred following the riots in the summer, where multiple countries said the UK was not safe to go. Were linked to England where the riots took place and were paying that price.
