Growing up in regional Australia & watching people over decades, you can see this dynamic. It seems to trigger earlier & more severe mental illness in those with a genetic predisposition. It's only observation but powerful enough for me to steer clear due to family history of mental illness.

I agree that these rage-bait food wars reek of classism. Once upon a time, I was told only peasants and pigs eat sweet potato or pumpkin, yet now they're trendy. Food trends come and go, so who cares who eats what. Just enjoy that you can afford to.
