expertly interviewed by Rob Rinder. The place was full - so many fans. We enjoyed it enormously and were able to see Lee and get books signed afterwards. We had a great night.

featuring "The Lincoln Lawyer" Mickey Haller. Brilliant case dealing with a teenager killing his ex-girlfriend. Mickey and his team need to prove he was acting under the malign influence of an AI companion.

The 25th book in the Rebus series. It features Rebus in prison and carrying out an investigation there, whilst Siobhon Clarke is carrying out a different investigation on the outside. Very entertaining story.

Detective Stilwell is moved from LA to the quiet Catalina island. However, a body is found weighted down in the water. At first she is only identifiable by the purple streak in her hair, known as "Nightshade" (Deadly Nightshade in the UK) Excellent.

Amazing book, so much to it, friendships, looking after family, romance all wrapped into the basic premise of a misguided belief. I enjoyed it enormously.

This is the final part of the trilogy of "books within books" which started with "Magpie Murders" and continued with "Moonflower Murders" I recommend starting with the first one. They are very entertaining.

Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott detective thriller. Great that Robin is from my part of the UK. This one featured an investigation into a cult, which involved Robin going undercover. This made for a very exciting read, edge of your seat stuff!

Some reviewers didn't like this one. I did though, I appreciated the damaged heroine, descriptions of people and places and the twisty storyline. I enjoyed it and would recommend it. A good read for me, what more can you say?

Amazing, fascinating mystery. The working class man who fell in with a bad crowd when he was young had a very authentic voice. Another book which I can't say too much about without spoiling it. It was just so good! Very impressed. Loved it.

The 6th and final book in the Inspector Ramsay series from 1997. Very good with twists and turns and an unexpected ending. I am very sorry this is the last book in this series, I liked it very much.

Great book but I cannot say anything about it, for fear of spoiling it, so you will have to take my word for it!

5th book in the Inspector Ramsay series, set in the North East. As I've said before, I love these books, the settings and the characters are always great. This one featured a murdered farmer, then a death connected to a modern "Wellness Centre"
Fabulous!

a Detective Inspector Ramsay mystery from 1993 concerning murder in one area and joyriding on a nearby estate. I really enjoy these North East settings and the stories are super intriguing. I also like Stephen Ramsay.

about Natasha, from a poor background in Scotland, working hard to make it in the patriarchal and misogynistic acting world. Very well written in a dual timeline. You will love Natasha and be rooting for her all the way. I loved it.

Murder mystery set in the Scottish Highlands, featuring three actresses who have all played the sleuth Dahlia on film or TV and are now firm friends. They also solve crimes! An entertaining and diverting read.

the 5th in the George and Molly Palmer Jones ornithological mysteries. This is the first of these stories which have the descriptive depth which characterize the Vera/Perez/ Venn books. An excellent read.
