This is the best in recent memory, equal time for most folks, nothing detracting from the people that were honoring. A++

It's an amazing movie in many ways, but has utterly committed tough as nails performance seals the deal.

I have a strong affection for the songs of that period - Guilford, DeChirico Street, Alright Yeah, Sinister But She Was Happy, Wide Open Star and especially the drone of You and Oblivion. Just some random 90's remembrances; cold, wet budget-conscious December good times in New York. 4/4

@gildabeast.bsky.social took me to see Robyn once before in 1995 (Dallas, Poor David's Pub) and this era was my intro to solo-Robyn after just being familiar with the Soft Boys CD reissues - happily finding that Live at the Portland Arms' tone was the norm. 3/4

In the second pic you can (of course) see a cone near a follow spot light (left side) and a pair of speakers on either side of the window. These are the only documentation I have of our being there; maybe you can pick out our particular applause during the movie? 2/4
