Apologies for being late to get back to this! The bill as drafted is actually very precise, referring to other bits of US Code. It's not as awful as I think most people are saying it is, though it does provide a tool to beat up on anyone supporting Palestinian groups that might be Hamas-adjacent.

THIS is where the proposal gets to be a problem. "Material support" swings an awfully broad brush. Does "any property, tangible or intangible, or service" include intellectual properties like communication--web content, media, etc.?

While the bill is problematic in some very real ways (wobbly definition of "material support"), I have a very hard time imagining that Planned Parenthood is donating money to a listed FTO.

Turns out that (no big surprise) one manufacturer makes store-brand waffles for lots of retail grocery chains. Another example of supply line challenges resulting from increased efficiencies in industry.

I for one am *not.* My go-to Monday frozen waffles were recalled--the audio message said something about "hysteria," which I found ironic--and are NLA at the grocery store. This was Week 2 attempting other options, all of which are abject failures. Mondays are ruined.

It's a guess but I suspect that Harris would have had less trouble getting elected as a governor. There's a certain portion of the population--like it or not--that just can't conceive of a woman being Commander in Chief.

An interesting statement of what value he thinks she brought to the campaign--or to his future balance sheets.

This is a better word. It's clearer about motive.

I think I saw him refer to them as "appointments" in his communications. Words have meanings.

Good news(?) is that he'll be the rest of the country's problem when he starts running for the White House in 2028... which would be as of last Tuesday, I suspect.
