It is in no way shameful, & can be very clarifying, to express the individual phenomenologies of such misaligned feedback loops to trusted peers, as well as a trusted trained professional. Sometimes more invasive interventions to restore balance are necessitated. All this is fine & human.

(*It’s also OK, though. I know you guys can’t always pick your projects on ‘artistic’ considerations alone, & none of us ever really know how the future is going to play out anyway…. Ty for consistently speaking out now on behalf of voiceless millions….)

I believe my undergraduate mentor contributed the chapter/entry on Gaullism to ‘The Columbia History of Twentieth Century French Thought’ he was compiling when we met nearly two decades ago (cf., www.jstor.org/stable/40552...).

Me too….We are living in liminal times when the political is personal in a way that seems to insist upon earnestly & faithfully reforming the collective morality in accordance w/ a realistic view of the natural complexity, of which the social totality is a part & in which it takes part.

They are actually something more like social theorists than ‘software,’ ‘tech,’ or ‘data’ guys, & their ideas for what to ‘do’ w/ the tech, what it’s useful for, come from rational speculation & political theory rather than Kuhn’s empirical ‘puzzle-solving.’

I heard all the fired & disparaged statist technocrats & woke-globalist academics are moving out to Galt’s Gulch to go ‘on strike,’ considering the know-it-all ideologues of nothing & their ‘lower middle’ ressentiment apparatchiks feel themselves quite capable of running things from here on out! 🇺🇸🔥🇨🇳

Despite trying for ~15mins to determine who this is, I was unable to use our current instantiation of the internet effectively to furnish an answer…. Mostly, I am concerned for his welfare as he looks suspiciously like an effigy of R. Murdoch himself, slightly fattened as though for slaughter.
