5/ Please take a look and tell me what ideas you have for improvement. Or maybe there's something that's jarring to the eye/ear/feeling that I'm not noticing? Do you have ideas for what to try tweaking next time?

4/ I shot and uploaded a new video in a completely new format for me - for the first time, it's not just a talking head with screen sharing, but I'm walking around, showing things, and I even added music.

3/ Now I want to understand how the second part of marketing works - the viral part. Not SEO, keywords and tutorials, but something that people enjoy watching for themselves, not for education.

2/ But both videos are targeted at specific search queries. I can see in the reports that people Google "how to do X" and end up on these 2 videos. And that's cool, I didn't know this was possible. I even managed to repeat it twice, so I'm starting to get a sense of how it works.

It means that someone found my article somehow, saved it to their knowledge systems and shared it with their colleagues, and another person read it and opened the URL.

And they use it for work, to make money.

Just awesome.

5/ Short version: there are now 5 different ways to set up rules, from global editor settings to project-specific rules that auto-attach based on which files you're working on.
May 29, 2025 at 6:22 AM
4/ The old .cursorrules file still works, but it's marked as legacy. The new system is much more powerful but definitely has a learning curve.
May 29, 2025 at 6:22 AM
3/ I keep getting questions from developers about how I actually use Cursor rules in practice, so I recorded a detailed walkthrough showing my complete setup.
May 29, 2025 at 6:22 AM
2/ Now Cursor has 5 different levels of AI rules, and honestly, it got way more complex than I expected.

9/ Two years in, first system that survived real pressure.

What's the longest you've stuck with a productivity system?
Notion Task Manager Guide: One Table for Goals, Projects & Tasks
My proven Notion task manager system for handling hundreds of tasks in one table. Hierarchical structure, quarterly goals, and zero inbox overwhelm.

8/ Simple hierarchy:
• Life Directions (Time, Mental, Body, Social, Finances)
• Quarterly Goals
• Projects → Tasks

Everything connects.
May 28, 2025 at 6:57 AM
7/ The breakthrough? No deadlines. Just priorities within projects.

"What order when working on this?" vs "When should I arbitrarily do this?"
May 28, 2025 at 6:57 AM
6/ Finally built something that works: one Notion table for everything.

Goals, projects, tiny tasks - all nested like a tree.
May 28, 2025 at 6:57 AM
5/ Most of those "deadlines" were completely made up anyway.

Did you really need to "update LinkedIn" on Tuesday specifically? Of course not.
May 28, 2025 at 6:57 AM
4/ When you finally open it: 50+ "overdue" items. Red badges everywhere. Tasks screaming they're late.

You spend 2 hours pushing arbitrary deadlines into the future.
May 28, 2025 at 6:56 AM
3/ Then life happens. Busy week, family emergency, deep project work. You avoid your task manager for a few days.
May 28, 2025 at 6:56 AM
2/ They all failed for the exact same reason. Day X arrives and ALL your tasks attack you at once.

You know this feeling. You've been productive, adding due dates, feeling organized.
