Lol we have the same experience 😆 my pet peeve is when the first words someone has ever spoken to me are "how tall are you?"
November 30, 2024 at 8:33 PM
The *meet me without saying "wow, you're tall" challenge* has a very low success rate.

The last time I made it I put it in a summer stone fruit salad with balsamic dressing and sliced almonds. 🤤

I've made it for years because my Thanksgiving was definitely lacking appetizers and this year I changed the shape of the pastry and added the bacon jam and it really made them so much better. 🤤 They smell incredible and go so well with all the other food.

Ok forgot I just posted 4 initially lol. Cranberry meringue, purple sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, and roasted chestnut, brussels sprout, and goat cheese pastries with bacon jam.

More pies. 🥰

Thank you! And yeah I forgot to alt text them. 😩 Let me double check the order I posted them in and I'll write it out respectively.

Like yeah there can be nefarious aspects of it but a good algorithm just seems to make what you're using more useful to you. 🤷🏼

I just think it's funny when people think an algorithm is an evil scientist cartoon type putting very specific posts into your feed rather than machine learning discovering what you are likely to engage with and giving you more of that.

To be fair, I only brought three to our gathering as well lol. 6 were to sell, and three went into my work as a gesture of appreciation (I work in the grocery industry) for my team. The rest stayed home.
