This is painful, and saddening, and embarrassing. I feel like we're losing a member of the family - and for no good reason other than that some Americans wanted another season of the worst reality TV show in history.

The gas is used to power the LNG export terminals in the process of turning it into Liquified Natural Gas for export.
This use of gas by the terminals themselves is greater than all of the gas used in our gas power plants combined – and represents about 3x TOTAL Australian household consumption.
