Someone in another reply to me actually clarified it even further. It was apparently a real discord message that was taken completely out of context, sent in reply to someone who had been harassing Kiseff for some time. I couldn't find it in the search because the thread it was in was nuked.

There's a part below that last one you've either cut out or just missed from someone else's screenshot of the thread that clarifies that they're not removing the large proportions, they're removing the option in the menu that hides large proportions.

Aside from it not being how Kiseff talks in announcements, and the absurdity of them randomly deciding to tell their entire playerbase to basically fuck off, it didn't have the proper formatting of a dev update. They're always pinged and have hundreds of reactions under them. The fake had neither.

The characterss are going through an update, but not to remove fat bodies from the game. The assets are apparently very old and there *was* a short period where they were really trimmed down, but it was in a test build for a game still in alpha. They're big again. You'll be happy to know that there's actually a new seemingly patron-only test branch accessible by password and this is the max size on it. Like I said elsewhere, any change made to the character proportions seems to have been unintentional.

Yes, but actually no. I'm in the patreon-exclusive section of the server. They said the message is fake and searching for it turns up no results.

This message literally doesn't exist in the official server. The screenshot is fake. Kiseff has said the sliders aren't changing and that dealing with this sudden outrage over nothing is causing a lot of stress. You can also see there's been no slider nerf if you just open the game yourself.

The serpent has two necks leading into its head. You can’t really follow how its body is laid out in the picture, either.

This guy’s armor has squiggly nonsense symbols on it, the magic spell’s circles are wonky, and most importantly his helmet is completely smooth, lacking even eye holes.

Looks like AI to me.

Treasure chest lock is a nonsense blurry smear and the metal trim on the side curves at the bottom as if it was rounded, but the front is flat.

The sigil seem like it’s meant to be a pentagram but it’s not. The body is a mess of random texture/shapes instead of a clear design.

I'll start trying to post here with some 2.5D art I recently did. It's a new thing for me and I've gotta get some more practice in, but I think it came out pretty good for a first attempt, and it was really fun!
