Her other books I've read are Enigma Tales and The Crimson Shadow and I enjoyed them both! I actually just started Hollow Men the other day, too, although I've been making slow progress (on account of being busy, not due to any fault in the book)

I enjoyed The Never-Ending Sacrifice, which follows Rugal, the Cardassian boy in that one episode of DS9 who was raised on Bajor and gets sent back to Cardassia. (it's by Una McCormack and I've enjoyed every Star Trek novel of hers I've read)

I recently switched to Verizon from T-mobile because of the latter's relationship with Trump (because Trump Mobile uses their network) and Elon Musk (because they have some new deal with Starlink). But tbh I'm sure there are many ways Verizon sucks too 🤷‍♀️

...would you recommend this career path (go back to school for a MLIS) to someone not currently working in publishing/in a library? I could use a career change but I already have one master's degree I'm not using and I should probably be cautious about getting a second...

Ughhh. Following the election from the other side of the country, it looked like ranked choice voting encouraged the candidates to build coalitions and uplift each other (like Mamdani and Lander endorsing each other) which seems, you know... good? I wish we had that where I live!

I'm here 2 months later to report that I watched Star Trek V and WOW you were not kidding when you said they asked "what if Star Trek could be Star Wars?"
