Still have this, boxed (one of 4 NES games I didn’t managed to sell when moving to the SNES). Never got past level 10 (so close to the end)

@jazrignall.bsky.social - I recall Mean Machines having an artists impression of the UK/EU SNES that was different from the eventual Super Famicom & US purple breeze block style. Do you remember that and where did it come from? Been wondering that for 35ish years!

Did anyone actually complete Snake Rattle n’ Roll in real life? I could never get past the second ice/mountain top level (and I finished NES Turtles!)

This was the first console mag I bought back in the day, after getting my NES the previous Xmas! Still not absolutely convinced the PC Engine existed in the UK…
