I hope to be able to write this dropped MXTX FoodZine fic too, but it'll be harder, because I came up with the plot shortly before she was diagnosed and it was based on a IRL incident involving her. That makes it so much harder to write.

I still miss her so much.

But maybe one day.

I'll go back to that WIP bc I love that story/verse eventually, bc the first part of it was incepted way before my dog fell sick, and the second part WIP has a memory of her in it that I wish to have as a tribute to her.

But given the nature of the fic, having my dog pass away just made it too hard for me to write this fic. She passed from complications resulting from chemo for late-stage lymphoma, not poisoning, but still... I also suspended another WIP that was dog-related.

BEFORE YOU @ ME, Fairy wouldn't have actually been poisoned nor would it have been WWX being an asshole. It was more like, dog-fearing WWX simply didn't know that chocolate is bad for dogs bc he's terrified of them, right? Why would he know factoids about them?

But the other reason was that the fic I intended to write was gonna be a MDZS fic involving WWX accidentally almost lowkey poisoning Fairy by way of accidental exposure to chocolate. I was gonna be a fluffy WWX-learns-dogs-aren't-so-bad-by-way-of-exposure-therapy-and-BestGirlFairy.

At the time, the Triple Chocolate Cookies had no collab partner; it was my own recipe and I was gonna write the fic for it. Since no one else would be affected by dropping that fic, I dropped it to focus on my other 2 contributions.

One reason I dropped this recipe and fic from my lineup of contributions was due to time/commitment issues. I was feeling so down and low from doggo's passing that I wanted to focus on my projects that had collab partners (as they would be affected if I pulled out). I didn't wanna let them down.
