Ugh ..as an artist I know my idealism has been kicked in the crotch. I want to paint again. I want to write songs again. The best I could muster was agreeing to play keyboards for a less-than-adequate band here over the Summer. 😢

It's music from Iowa. Songs that I wrote over a 30 year window. I've been called "Temu Elvis Costello", but to be fair I should also be called, "Temu Procol Harum, Temu Jellyfish, Temu Pink Floyd, and Temu Archies" as well.

Well...if he keeps the ACA subsidies and calls it "Trumpcare", that wouldn't irritate me so much. You could call it "magic beans" or "Rumple Stiltskin" for all I care, just so Americans have access to healthcare. Then he can stroke out 😛

Once you develop an intrinsic grasp of what key a song is in, it all goes smoother. At least in my case it makes it easier to fake through lapses in memory. I retired from gigging two years ago. I don't want to be one of those guys. 😊
