I'd always recommend Legends Arceus. It's definitely a different experience and like I said, I really enjoy the story. It's also a standalone game so you don't have to worry about having to find people to trade you version exclusives.

There's valid reasons to get into any of the other Switch Pokemon games depending on what you're there for. Honestly all of them have some peak new designs. SV and Legends have amazing stories even though they do have occasional performance issues.
